For our first ever winter overnighter, we took it back to where it all started: Mt. Seymour. It’s a trail we know well now, and has a very good effort to reward ratio. Since you start your hike at the ski resort, it only takes a 3-4 hours to get to the top depending on how much you stop, and once you get to the top you are rewarded with some of the best views on the North Shore! For that reason, it’s one of the best backcountry locations for beginners.
