Here is the NV200 build as promised. I really like this build, I hope you do too. 日本でこれを見ている方、ようこそ。

This is the whole build process from start to finish. No fancy shop or expensive tools required. If you asked earlier about how to do the minivan build, the process for this one is identical except except I didn’t need to address a sloping floor like in the minivan. The floor is flat. I’m working to get the minivan floor video up. I needed to shoot some additional video.

I added some Japanese titles in this video because I thought it might appeal to some Japanese van campers. The small city type cargo vans are no longer being sold in the US. I figured the British, Europeans and Japanese might find this video useful. (we will see how well Google translate did)

I called this a solo traveler build, because that was the build requested. Don’t let this deter you. It can easily be turned into a couple camper. Just return the passenger seat to the front facing position and add a mobile storage seat. Last year, I did exactly this to this van (and added a house battery system). It had a new owner who requested some modifications. The toilet box or a mobile storage box can also be used to extend the bed length if required. The ceiling height is a little lower in this NV200 because of the added rooftop air conditioner. If you are doing this build, you could likely make the bed platform higher. For a couple build you could also make the bed a little wider.

If you are watching this from the UK or Japan and have a righthand drive vehicle, just do a mirror image of the build. I know a swivel seat for these is available in the UK. That would be the way to go if one is available. Just not available in the US.

If you are doing this however, no need to drill anything or unplug the air bag to reverse the seat. You can just turn it around and be careful with the wiring.
